Meet Our Clinical Team Leads

Joseph Mbugua, 

TX Lead APRN

Joseph Mbugua is a Nurse Practitioner based in North Texas/Dallas Fort Worth holding professional credentials of FNP-C, PMHNP-BC. He is double board-certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner and a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. Joseph brings a wealth of clinical experience in primary care, rehabilitation, home care, and cardiovascular medicine. He has served adults and geriatric patients in Texas and Arizona, managing a broad range of both acute and chronic medical conditions.

Nancy Denton, 

OK Lead APRN

Nancy Denton is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner based in Tahlequah, OK. She brings more than 40 years of experience as a registered nurse that includes delivering wound care in patients' homes, hospitals, and various long term care facilities. Nancy's approach to care is helping patients understand and establish healing goals, then educating how to achieve these goals within the context of their personal beliefs, finances, and family dynamics.

Stacy Christman, 

Director of Clinical Services

Stacy Christman is a Registered Nurse based in Coalgate, OK. Her nearly 15 years in the field includes clinical nursing and facility administrator experience in various care settings.  Stacy has served as Director of Nursing and currently provides training to teams of wound care nurses in best treatment practices. She holds certifications in Wound Care, Infection Prevention, and ACLS.

Allison J. McMichael,

Co-founder & CEO

Allison J. McMichael is a resourceful servant-leader with 15+ years of progressive experience in finance and operational leadership, including more than 5 years in C-suite positions and 10 years in management leading internal controls, process improvement and strategic planning. Allison has spent much of her career championing for our communities as a leader for various nonprofits and healthcare organizations, including 4 years presenting recommendations to Oklahoma’s Legislature as a CFO. 

She has demonstrated success in streamlining operations and increasing efficiencies through system implementations, project management, and team building. She acquired her MBA from the University of Central Oklahoma and is currently pursuing the CFA certification. 
Allison enjoys calling Oklahoma home with her two children, Stella and Luke, and thanks her parents, John and Brenda Bolander, for their support and the strong moral compass they exemplify.

Dr. Randy Blake Patterson,

Co-founder & Chief Medical Officer

Randy Blake Patterson, MD was born and raised in Oklahoma and earned his medical degree (M.D.) from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine.

He completed an Internship in General Surgery at the world-renowned Columbia University Physicians and Surgeons in New York. As a surgical resident, Dr. Patterson maintained resident-teaching appointment in the Department of Surgical Education at Columbia University for which he was recognized by his peers. He then continued his surgical training as a Resident in Surgery at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center at Harvard Medical School. He was appointed Clinical Fellow in Surgery at the Harvard Medical School in 2020.

Dr. Patterson developed clinical and research interests as a Surgical Resident including limb salvage, clinical informatics, and tissue engineering. After residency he joined the nation’s largest specialty wound practice as Staff Physician, caring for patients throughout the state of Oklahoma and North Texas.

Drawing from this professional experience, Accelerate Wound Care was inspired by his desire to address what he observed to be systemic gaps in care delivery and to provide exceptional care to the people of Oklahoma and North Texas.
